Update on Case of Missing Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga Candidate, Israeli Boyfriend
MISSING MUTYA NG PILIPINAS PAMPANGA CANDIDATE – Th families of Geneva Lopez and her Israeli boyfriend sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
A beauty queen in Pampanga, Geneva Lopez, went missing since June 21 with her boyfriend, Yitshak Cohen. She is one of the official candidates of the Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga.
According to Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga, they had no event in line with the beauty pageant last June 21 as it was intended to be a rest day. The last information that the family of the couple has is that they were off to Capas, Tarlac for a lot transaction.
Since June 21, the families of the missing Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga candidate and her boyfriend had no information about the whereabouts of the couple. There is now a reward money for the disappearance of Geneva Lopez and her Israeli boyfriend.
Part of the reward money is from the family of the Israeli boyfriend of the beauty queen. His brother stressed that they just want to find where the couple is. The mayor of Angeles City also gave Php 100,000 as reward money for any information that could lead to the resolution of the search.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has identified 7 persons of interest in the case of the missing beauty queen. The persons of interest includes the middleman of the lot transaction who claimed that he was with the couple before they disappeared.
A burnt SUV was found in Tarlac and some belongings of the missing Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga candidate were found inside the burnt car. Based on a recent report on ABS-CBN News, the families of Geneva Lopez and Yitshak Cohen have reached out to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
According to the sister of Lopez, they just want to tap the people who can possibly help them and they are also coordinating with other government agencies. Based on the article, Yaniv Cohen, the brother of the Israeli boyfriend of the beauty queen, his brother did not receive any threats before they disappeared.
“My goal is to find my brother. My goal is to really finish this and no to having any more problems or complications,” he said.
The police authorities have formed a task group to fasttrack the search for Geneva Lopez and Yitshak Cohen.
