Actor Elvis Gutierrez Recalls Fond Memories w/ Late Wife Alexa
Elvis Gutierrez mourns the death of his wife, Alexandra Joelle “Alexa” Gutierrez, who fought against leukemia after her diagnosis in January 2024.
The Gutierrez family is currently grieving the death of Alexa Gutierrez. It was just last January 2024, shortly after their Japan family trip, when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It is a condition wherein there is an overproduction of the White Blood Cells or WBC compared with the Red Blood Cells or RBC.
Alexa, the wife of Elvis, went through medication and treatment procedures as she fought against the serious disease. Her sister-in-law, Ruffa Gutierrez, has constantly sought prayers for her recovery in the past months since her diagnosis.
Elvis Gutierrez and Alexa Uichico-Gutierrez were together for several years already before they got married in 2015. They were schoolmates and many of their loved ones can attest to how genuine and great their love is for each other.
The marriage of Elvis and Alexa is blessed with the lives of their two daughters Aria,9, and Ezra,7. Sadly, Elvis lost his wife while Aria and Ezra lost their mother at a young age.
Ruffa Gutierrez recently confirmed that her sister-in-law, Alexa, died. Messages of love, comfort, and sympathy overflowed for Elvis, their daughters, and the Uichico and Gutierrez families. Many people close to Alexa are saddened by her loss.
In her social media post, Ruffa admitted that she is both heartbroken and shocked by the passing of Alexa whom she loves dearly. According to the actress, she is still in the process of the accepting the death of her sister-in-law. She expressed her love for Elvis’ wife whom she considers “irreplaceable”.
On his Instagram account, Elvis Gutierrez posted photos of his late wife. He shared a photo of him kissing Alexa on her cheek during some swimming time together. It came with a white heart emoji and it did not fail to gather heartfelt messages of comfort from many people including his siblings Rocky, Monching, and Ruffa.
Recently, Elvis Gutierrez shared another throwback photo of Alexa. In his post, he recalled that she was 19 then while he was 22 and it was the first time that she learned how to drive. According to him, he wanted to capture how happy she was then and she even called him “the best driving teacher”. He expressed his longing for the presence of his late wife.
