Comedian Dinky Doo Jr. Dies at 66
DINKY DOO JR – The daughter of the comedian announced his death on social media and expressed her appreciation of the prayers for her father and their family.
In the Philippine showbiz industry, not all actors and actresses usually get the lead roles. There are those who have lived their showbiz careers playing supporting roles but they have greatly contributed to many excellent projects and their brilliance in acting made them a name in the entertainment industry.
One of the artists in the Philippine showbiz industry who have played different roles in several projects is Dinky Doo Jr. Recently, a sad update about the comedian crossed the surface.
In a social media post, the daughter of Dinky Doo Jr. announced the comedian’s passing. He died at 7:20 a.m. in the 2nd of July this year. She also expressed her appreciation for all the prayers for her father as well as for their family.
Furthermore, the comedian’s daughter also recalled the usual line of her father — “Salamat po sa Dios sa lahat ng nangyayari [Thanks to God for all that is happening]”.
Thousands of netizens expressed their sympathy to the family of the late comedian. Countless people also expressed their wish for the eternal repose of the soul of the late comedian. Here’s his daughter’s social media post on his official Facebook page:
The younger brother of Dinky Doo Jr., Artstrong Clarion, also took to social media the announcement about his brother’s death. He also expressed how proud he is of his brother.
“Kamusta mo kami kay Mami and Erpat at kay utol Al at Mel…You lived a full life and we are so proud of you…Rest in Paradise,” he stated.
Dinky Doo Jr. was previously diagnosed with diabetes and he also had several complications due to his hypertension. Here are some of the projects wherein he played a role:
