Boy Abunda Calls Jillian Ward Interview ‘Fascinating’
BOY ABUNDA – King of Talk Boy Abunda called his interview with Kapuso actress and model Jillian Ward ‘fascinating.’
Boy Abunda excitedly revealed that Jillian Ward, a New Generation Star, will be the next guest on the limited discussion show “My Mother, My Story.” The King of Talk claims that the whole crew went to Tagaytay and shot at the old house where he and Jillian had previously recorded for their show, “Trudis Liit.”
Based on a report from GMA, the prominent host described their conversation as “fascinating.” Abunda explained, “I am fascinated by her being present. She’s so present in the interview.”
Boy Abunda was also impressed by Jillian’s confidence in expressing her true self and opinions on camera. “Unafraid to be herself. Ibig sabihin, may mga moments na sa kaniyang narrative as a kid, she wanted some things. Awkward stage until today, she’s one of the biggest stars in the entertainment business in television. Unafraid about the contradictions, bilib ako doon,” he said.
“Kasi what is a narrative if the flow is always reasonable, logical, doon ako bilib sa mga narrative ng public figures, powerful people, celebrities. When they are able to embrace their uniqueness,” Abunda added.
Boy Abunda found it fascinating to hear about Jillian’s evolving perspective as she grew older, as well as her previous aspirations and deeds.
“Eto gusto ko noon, ngayon hindi na. Eto ginagawa ko noon, ito dito, I love that about her that’s why I described my interview with her as fascinating,” Abunda said.
One of the six celebrity features on “My Mother, My Story” is Jillian’s story. Each guest on the program will relate their own upbringing by their parents. They will also discuss how they got hurt, how they learned to love, and other life situations that influenced who they are as people.
