Rather than dwelling on the negative comment, Stell chose to focus on the positive side and even made light of the “face-shaming” remark.

He joked, “’Tsaka sabi nila, di ba? Pag marami kang basher, ibig sabihin, sikat ka na! Boom, sikat. Hindi, joke lang!”

The “What?” singer continued, “’Tsaka ba’t ako masasaktan, di naman totoo. Joke!”

A week before Stell’s livestream, Stella faced backlash for a post attacking SB19 Stell’s appearance. She had reposted a Facebook post featuring Stell’s old photos with the caption “panget.”

Her actions angered SB19’s fanbase, A’TIN, who criticized Stella on social media and demanded she be held accountable. Instead of apologizing after being called out, Stella escalated the situation by posting another comment on Facebook, stating, “Pero totoo naman diba panget siya pero natatakot lang kayo magsalita!”

Eventually, Stella removed the posts but made another negative remark: “I deleted it because you’re all overreacting, but what I said is true.”

Following these remarks, Colourette Cosmetics CEO Nina Ellaine Dizon announced that the company was cutting ties with Stella, emphasizing their commitment to self-love and empowerment.

On Saturday, May 25, Stella issued a public apology to Stell and those she hurt with her comments.

“Gusto ko pong humingi ng paumanhin direkta mismo kay Stell ng SB19 at sa mga taong nasaktan ko dahil sa aking mga pahayag,” said the content creator.
