PMPC STAR AWARDS 2024 NOMINEES – Here is a complete list of the candidates for the 40th Philippine Movie Press Club and the special recognitions.
In the Philippines, there are film award-giving bodies that hold annual awarding events. One of the prestigious award-giving entities that is operating in the country for 40 years now is the Philippine Movie Press Club or more popularly called PMPC.
This year, the PMPC Star Awards is on its 40th year. It is set to give valuable contributions to veteran actors and actress in the Philippine cinema aside from the awarding of the PMPC Star Awards 2024 nominees who won the awards.
Veteran stars Vilma Santos, Christopher de Leon, Piolo Pascual, and Nora Aunor will have the Dekada Awards. Veteran actress Liza Lorena will be awarded the ora Aunor Lifetime Achievement Award.
Furthermore, film producer Vic del Rosario Jr. is set to be given the Ulirang Alagad sa Likod ng Kamera Lifetime Achievement Award. Celebrity couple and Rewind stars Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera will also be recognized with the Takilya King and Queen distinction.
