Gerald Anderson Speaks on Preparing for Marriage, Having Kids
GERALD ANDERSON – The Kapamilya actor affirmed that he is ready to marry Julia Barretto and he is closer to that as he’s preparing now.
Among the celebrities who found the love of their life in the same entertainment industry that they are in are Gerald and Julia. The beginning of their relationship was undeniably challenging as it was surrounded by countless issues, speculations, and rumors.
Gerald and Julia worked together in the 2019 film Between Maybes. Amid the breakup of the actor and his ex-girlfriend, actress Bea Alonzo, Julia earned countless hate messages and criticisms as she was rumored to be the third party in the split of the couple.
Julia Barretto remained mum on the issue. Gerald Anderson also maintained his silence and, when he finally spoke up in an interview with Boy Abunda, the Kapamilya actor confirmed his relationship with the young actress. Undeniably, the confirmation was welcomed by different reactions from the public.
The relationship of Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto braved all the issues and criticisms that came their way. They are visibly happy in their relationship and so in love with each other. The two (2) celebrities are together for years now.
In a recent interview with Karen Davila, Gerald Anderson affirmed that he is ready to marry Julia Barretto. The Kapamilya actor stressed that he is already 35 years old now and he had a different answer if he was asked years ago.
“Yeah, of course [ready for marriage]. I’m closer to that. Kasi kung five, three years ago, tanong niyo sa akin yan, ‘Hindi, hindi,'” the actor said.
Gerald further explained that everything that he is doing is leading up to his married life and future family. According to the Kapamilya actor, he wants to be able to take care of his children without worrying for anything but he also clarified that he will not spoil his future kids.
“But hindi sila puwede maging spoiled. Kasi hindi madali ang buhay… Everything I do in life is leading up to yung aspeto na yan,” he said.
Gerald Anderson also answered to the question about what makes Julia Barretto different. During the interview, the actor said that they support each other which is very important for him. He stressed that his girlfriend supports him in his endeavours and he also supports her and always try to push her to be the best version of herself.
“We’re going through this journey together. Marami highs and lows, but as long as gagawin natin together, I think it makes everything better,” he said.
