Coleen Garcia Speaks on Marriage with Billy Crawford
COLEEN GARCIA – The wife of Billy Crawford who is returning to her acting career reacted to the breakup rumors surrounding their marriage.
Among the celebrities in the Philippine entertainment industry who married someone in the same field are celebrity couple Billy and Coleen who found each other and now have a small family. They have a handsome little boy, Amari.
Billy and Coleen’s friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship when they were both hosts of the ABS-CBN noontime variety show It’s Showtime. Their co-hosts and the madlang pipol loved teasing the two (2) hosts and he also can’t resist to throw questions at her on air.
After a year of speculations on the real score between Billy and Coleen, the TV host-dancer confirmed that they are in a relationship. The celebrity couple dated for four years and officially tied the knot.
Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia’s wedding was held in Balesin Island. It gathered many actors and actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry, their bosses in the ABS-CBN network, as well as their co-hosts in Showtime.
Amari, the handsome little boy of Coleen and Billy, came into the lives of the celebrity couple two (2) years after their wedding. The actress gave birth to Amari through a natural birthing process which is water birth. Ever since she became a mom, the actress was quite inactive in her showbiz career as she is visibly focusing on her little family.
Meanwhile, Coleen Garcia is now set to make a comeback on her acting career. She also clarified the rumors surrounding her and Billy Crawford’s wedding and his health status. During her recent guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the actress put down the breakup rumors saying that she and her husband have never broke up.
According to Coleen, they never broke up because Billy always finds a way to fix their problem. She admitted that there were times when she turned to giving up when she is tired but not because he did something wrong. Meanwhile, he always does not allow them to break up.
“So it took being with somebody who’s the opposite na who taught me the value of commitment. And nadadala ko siya everywhere in my job and everywhere,” the actress said.
Coleen Garcia is vocal that she is thankful to her husband for the learning she got from him about commitment. The actress also clarified that Billy Crawford’s weight loss is due to his hectic work schedule as he flies every month to France and performs abroad.
