SAAB MAGALONA – The host and content creator gave an update after having been diagnosed with a rare congenital condition.
She shared a photo on her social media account where she can be seen watching the television, she said that her hemoglobin is back to normal and her vital signs have been stable for days.
“Just waiting for clearance so we can get back to Manila and undergo surgery. Our boys are flying back with our wonderful family today,” Saab Magalona said in her post. “Will post a separate update on them later.”

SAAB MAGALONA – The host and content creator revealed that she has been diagnosed with a rare congenital condition ahead of their family vacation.
Sharing a photo on her social media account on Thursday, Saab said that she was “palpitating and was as white as a ghost” on the morning of her family’s flight to Boracay four days ago.
She also said that they “chalked it up to bad acid and a panic attack”. According to her, they flew to the island after checking that her temperature and blood pressure were both at normal rates.
Saab shared that she got dizzy when they got off the plane and got dizzy again when they got off the boat, adding that she had to use a wheelchair after using the stairs at the hotel, took a long nap, and then she used the toilet when she woke up, vomited, and passed out.
She also said that she blacked out and woke up to her husband Jim Bacarro “screaming for help outside the hotel door with me in his arms, my soiled pants and vomit all over my shirt”.
Fortunately, she shared that the hotel staff and her father-in-law facilitated their van ride to a nearby clinic, a late-night boat ride, and an ambulance ride to Kalibo in Aklan, one and a half hours away from the main island.
She then revealed that she was in the intensive care unit for the past few days for blood transfusions and her mother, Pia Magalona, got in touch with the Philippine Red Cross. According to her, she was transferred to a regular room on Wednesday.
The content creator went on to reveal that she has been diagnosed with Meckel’s Diverticulum. She ended her post by telling her followers to stay safe and listen to their bodies.
“Thank you Lord for giving me another day. For now I will relax, heal, and watch Masterchef while holding hands with my hero,” she said.
