Alessandra de Rossi on people judging unmarried women
ALESSANDRA DE ROSSI – The “Firefly” actress shared a message for people who have a negative view of unmarried women.
The actress is set to star in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) movie “Firefly”. Other cast members for GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures’ flagship movie include Yayo Aguila, Dongdong Dantes, Max Collins, Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, and more.
She is the celebrity guest in the latest episode of “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast on Spotify where she gave a reaction about people judging unmarried women.
In an interview with Nelson Canlas, Alessandra said that those who have a negative view of unmarried women are afraid of being alone.
“Well, kung negative ‘yung tingin nila sa unmarried, parang, takot kayo mag-isa. Sorry,” the actress said. “I mean, kung ‘yun ‘yung dating sa inyo, pero kaming unmarried, masaya naman kami.”
According to her, she won’t claim that her life is happier without a husband and children. Although she believes that love makes the world go round, the actress shared she doesn’t believe that it’s the solution to everything.
Alessandra also said that being a mother is a fulfilling job and children are a gift from God, but it’s sad if a woman feels sad in her life because she wasn’t given a gift. She added that life is not just having a relationship, getting married, and having a child.
In the same interview, the actress also shared that her first thought about the movie was “sobrang ganda” and she fell in love with it the moment she read the script. She also said that expressing a child’s innocence is an important and compelling aspect of the movie.
