KC Concepcion: “I remember I would ask Santa Claus to hopefully bring them back together because I so wanted to have a complete family”
KC CONCEPCION – The actress looked back to the time when she would ask Santa Claus to bring her parents back together.
The actress and content creator released a vlog where she did the makeup tutorial while talking about her parents Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion and their “Dear Heart” reunion concert.
According to her, her vlog was filmed the night before her parents’ first sold-out concert last October 27, 2023. She released her vlog titled “MAKE UP TUTORIAL + ‘DEAR HEART’ CONCERT STORYTIME” on her YouTube channel last October 30, 2023.
In her vlog, the actress talked about how her parents’ love story started and ended. At one point, she shared that her parents broke up when she was a toddler.
She also shared that she even remembered the time when she would ask Santa Claus to hopefully bring her parents back together because she wanted to have a complete family and she knew that her parents loved each other. However, she said it never worked out and that’s okay for her.
KC added that she doesn’t have memories of her parents being friends and their reunion concert came as a “surprise” to her. The actress then admitted that she initially had doubts if the reunion concert would push through as there were already several reunion plans prior that didn’t come about.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would still be able to experience sharing moments with the two of them together—laughing, smiling, talking,” she shared. “I don’t really remember them being friends when I was growing up, so I never really thought that it would be possible to see them in one place, just OK and on good terms.”
It can be recalled that KC Concepcion shared an old letter about wanting to have a “complete family”. But during the “Dear Heart” concert last October 27, Sharon Cuneta apologized to her for not giving her a “complete family”.
