Diana Zubiri: “Noong una, parang ayaw ko dahil nga po parang ang layo sa image ko. Siyempre, gusto ko rin yun, gusto ko rin ng change.”
DIANA ZUBIRI – The actress and content creator shared that her showbiz image has changed because of Kapuso fantaserye “Encantadia”.
The actress is currently in the Philippines as the ambassador of Australian-based training provider Signet Institute. She’s in the country to inform those who want to study in Australia that she can assist them with their needs.
In a report on GMA Entertainment, Diana shared she didn’t think that her return to the country would coincide with the announcement of the new “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre”. This is her first return home to the country after she and her family stayed in Australia during the pandemic.
Because of this, the actress shared that many people asked her if there’s a chance for her to be a part of the upcoming fantasy series.
“Parang yung mga tao iniisip nila, ‘Uy, baka kasali kayo.’ Well, recently, parang yun na ang naririnig-rinig namin. Willing naman tayo, siyempre, kasi malaking factor ‘yan sa aking showbiz life,” she said. “Pero kasi, sabi ko nga, uuwi lang ako kung kukunin ako ng Signet kasi medyo mahal. Baka naman sagutin naman ng GMA ang pag-uwi ko.”
Meanwhile, Diana said that she’s very grateful to “Encantadia” because her showbiz career has changed a lot because of it.
The actress shared that she was offered to be part of “Encantadia” while she was doing “Bubble Gang”, adding that the image of her companions was “wholesome”.
According to the actress, she didn’t want to accept the offer at first because the said project seemed far from her image but she decided to accept the said offer because she wanted to change her image.
To recall, Diana said in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” that she’s excited about “Sang’gre” and she’s happy because a lot of people are looking forward to it.
