Here’s a step-by-step process on what can you do if your Maya account is tagged as a duplicate.
MAYA ACCOUNT – This article will teach you on what can you do if your Maya account is tagged as a duplicate.
Formerly Paymaya, this is an all-in-one app that combines a feature-rich digital wallet and a secure, progressive digital banking experience. This mobile app allows you to save, spend, grow, invest, and master your money.
It is important to create – and upgrade – you Maya account before using the features available in the app. But what if your account is tagged as a “duplicate” after creating your account?
Another account already exists with the same information if you receive a message saying that your account is a “duplicate” after creating your account. Here’s a step-by-step process on what can you do if your account is tagged as a duplicate:
You need to send an email to docs-support@maya.ph together with the Maya-registered mobile phone number that you would like to retain, the Maya-registered mobile phone number that you would like to cancel (if you still have the information), and a copy of any of government-issued IDs along with a selfie of yourself holding the government-issued ID next to your face.
The list of government-issued IDs are the following: SSS ID (digitized with photo)
- PRC ID
- Postal ID (issued 2015 onwards)
- Passport
- Driver’s License
- UMID
- Philippine National Identity Card (front and back)
- NBI Clearance
- Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card (ACR i-Card)
- Government Office and GOCC ID
- IBP Card
Once received, Maya will process your request in 10 business days. Keep in mind that you can only have one account.
