Here’s a step-by-step process on what can you do if you lose your phone with a number registered to your Maya account
The first step is to call your mobile service provider and request a new SIM for your old prepaid mobile number. After that, you need to install your new SIM card into your new phone, download and install the app to your phone, and log in to your Maya account using your mobile number and existing password.
You may be asked to enter an OTP (one-time PIN) that will be sent to your registered mobile number if you are logging in using a new phone.
Aside from this, you also need to fill up and sign the form and send an email to docs-support@maya.ph together with a copy of any of government-issued IDs. The list of government-issued IDs are the following: SSS ID (digitized with photo)
- PRC ID
- Postal ID (issued 2015 onwards)
- Passport
- Driver’s License
- UMID
- Philippine National Identity Card (front and back)
- NBI Clearance
- Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card (ACR i-Card)
- Government Office and GOCC ID
- IBP Card
Once received, Maya will then process your request in 2 business days.
