Pokwang: “Wala kasi kayo sa sitwasyon ko. Madaling sabihin na, ‘Mag-move on ka na. Bitter ka,’ kasi hindi kayo ang nakakaranas ngayon ng pain”
POKWANG – The comedienne recently shared a message to those who told her not to be “bitter” over her ex-partner Lee O’Brian.
To recall, Lee and Pokwang met in 2014 while working on the film “Edsa Woolworth”. The two welcomed their child in January 2018 and officially ended their relationship in November 2021.
The actress appeared in an episode of broadcast journalist Karen Davila’s vlog on her YouTube channel where she spoke about her pain over her past relationship with Lee.
In an interview, Pokwang was asked how she feels when people told her not to be “bitter” towards her ex-partner.
The comedienne said that people are not in the same situation as hers, adding that it’s easy for people to say “Mag-move on ka na. Bitter ka” because they’re not the one experiencing the pain.
“Walang sugat na malalim na takpan mo lang [bandage] ay OK na,” she said. “Ang sugat, naghi-heal ‘yan nang unti-unti. Hayaan niyo na lang muna ako sumigaw kasi mahapdi.”

Pokwang also lamented how she receives such comments mostly from women, who supposedly painted her as the bad person because she has been publicly expressing her sentiments against her ex-partner.
She then turned emotional when she talked about the moment she realized she had had enough and that she already needed to let go of her relationship with him.
The comedienne was also asked if she wants to take another chance at love. According to her, she leaves everything in God’s hands and that her priority at the moment is to work hard for her children.
