GLADYS REYES – The “Apag” star recently shared the trick to long-standing relationship with her husband Christopher Roxas.
Gladys and Christopher have been together for 30 years – 11 years as boyfriend and girlfriend and 19 years as a married couple.
The actress appeared on Monday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she spoke about her relationship with her husband and also shared the trick to long-standing relationship with him.
Gladys said in an interview with Boy Abunda that there’s no such thing as a perfect marriage, adding that communication is important in their long-standing relationship.
The actress also said that it’s unfair for women to expect men to know what their wives want. She also admits to being very vocal about what she wants and “kung ano ang gusto kong mangyari”.
“There is no such thing as a perfect marriage. Marami kaming arguments, mga hindi seeing eye-to-eye. Ang importante, yang communication,” she said.
In the same interview, she also spoke about her “kontrabida” or problems she faced in her life.
She shared that those “kontrabida” in life have nothing to do with a person, but it has something to do within the person. According to her, people have their own insecurities and weaknesses that sometimes dictate how they act.
The actress also said that she can’t avoid being able to speak whenever she’s angry, but she actually ends up crying when her emotions get intense.
