Gladys Reyes to Christopher Roxas: “Salamat sa inspirasyon.”
GLADYS REYES – The actress recently shared a message for her husband Christopher Roxas after winning Best Actress in the 1st Summer Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this year.
It was last April 12 when she posted a photo of herself holding a trophy on her social media account to express her gratitude as she has been named Best Actress for her role in “Apag”.
She also posted a series of photos on her social media account along with a message for her husband.
In the caption of her social media post, the actress shared that she gave the trophy to her husband when she came home after attending the Gabi ng Parangal of MMFF’s inaugural summer edition.
“Pag-uwi ko kagabi, sa kanya ko unang inabot ang award ko, kung di sa malawak niyang pang-unawa na kailangan ko magshoot ng ilang araw sa Pampanga [baka] di ko nagawa ang ‘Apag’,” she said.

The “Apag” star also said her husband understands that she has always wanted to be an actress ever since she was a kid, adding that her husband never hindered her from reaching her dreams in life.
Calling her husband “Ang totoong panalo ko sa buhay!” and “Asawang nagmamahal sa lahat ng panahon at pagkakataon”, Gladys thanked him for supporting her and she also expressed her love for him.
“Mahal kita Mr. Sommereux @christopherroxas 30 years ago hanggang ngayon kasama ng apat nating mga anak,” Gladys said to Christopher. “Salamat sa inspirasyon.”
“Apag” is a film directed by Brillante Mendoza.
