Dionne Monsanto: “I didn’t think I would miss it as much as I did.”
DIONNE MONSANTO – The actress recently spoke about her return to acting as she’s one of the stars in “Unbreak My Heart”.
“Unbreak My Heart” is a product of the partnership among Viu, ABS-CBN, and GMA Network.
The actress said in an interview with PUSH that she was surprised at how much she ended up missing acting. She also admitted that she had not anticipated feeling that way as well.
According to the actress, returning to acting was “wild” and she didn’t think she would miss it as much as she did. The celebrity mom added that an acting project “involves a lot of scheduling and planning”.
“Momentarily returning to acting was wild. I didn’t think I would miss it as much as I did. The energy on set still invigorates me,” Dionne said. “Doing an acting project now that I’m a mom involves a lot of scheduling and planning.”
The actress also said that her sister was also in Switzerland at the time she had to film her scenes in the series.
Dionne was asked in an interview what made her agree to do the role after retiring from show business a couple of years ago. According to her, accepting the said project wasn’t hard at all and she’s “more than and eternally grateful” to be part of the project.
The actress added that the said project is “a very historic collaboration” of Viu, ABS-CBN, and GMA Network.

Dionne is now based in Switzerland. She and her husband Ryan Stalder tied the knot last March 2021 and welcomed their daughter last April 2022.
The actress shared how happy she is to be back in the Philippines for a vacation with her daughter. She told PUSH that coming to the country after more than 2 years of living abroad is something she has been so excited about, adding that she missed her family and friends, Filipino food, and the beach.
Dionne also said that she and Ryan plan to fly back to the country “at least once a year” so that she and her husband can expose their daughter to the Filipino culture.
