Kris Aquino: “I’m forever going to be proud to be Cory’s baby”
KRIS AQUINO – The former TV host recently shared a heartfelt message for her mom, late President Corazon “Cory” Aquino, on her 90th birth anniversary.
January 25, 2023 marked the 90th birth anniversary of late President Cory Aquino.
On Wednesday, Kris posted a video on her social media account where she demonstrates how she copes with 4 autoimmune diseases and also showed how challenging her situation has been.
She also used the opportunity to explain to the public the conditions she was dealing with, even though she believed her mom can see everything from heaven.
In her letter to her late mom, she said that her mother kept saying that she’s the “female Ninoy” as none of her sisters have blood pressure issues. She added that her late mom use to say to her that “there was never a happy medium”.
Towards the end of the video, she revealed that they will be visiting the “Happiest Place on Earth” in honor of her mom’s 90th birth anniversary.
“My promise for kuya timed for your birthday. I really pray kayanin ko even just 5 rides so kuya will have happy memories during this whole ordeal,” Kris said in a letter to her late mom. “It’s because of the example you set that even when my deep bone pain is awful or my vascular urticaria is everywhere – I don’t complain.”

According to her, she wants her children to see that they’re worth all the pain and discomfort because she knows they still need her.
Refusing to take all the credit, the former TV host said that she always tells them she had the “best role model in the world” and she’s forever going to be proud to be “Cory’s baby” and the mother of her children Josh and Bimby.
In conclusion, she told her late mom that she no longer searches for someone in order to make her feel complete.
