Toni Gonzaga: “Next year, that’s my dream… babalik ako sa school”
TONI GONZAGA – The actress, singer, and TV host recently shared that Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022 entry “My Teacher” inspired her to go back to school.
The actress is the lead star of MMFF 2022 entry “My Teacher”. She failed to win the “Best Actress” award during the Gabi ng Parangal of MMFF 2022, but “My Teacher” took the “gender sensitivity award”.
To recall, TV host Bianca Gonzalez said in a previous report on The Philippine Star that Toni Gonzaga got waitlisted for the fine arts program at the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman.
However, upon her father’s advice, the TV host “decided to enroll in a communications course in Dominican College”.
According to a report, Toni would change her major course to AB English when she transferred to Asian Institute of Distance Education. The TV host would eventually enroll at the University of the Philippines through its Open University, taking up multimedia arts.

The actress intended to return to school this incoming 2023 as she has already scouted for possible universities or colleges.
According to the TV host, she wanted to take up law as she has been reading books lent to her by her husband’s lawyer-friend. She also said that it’s great if you know anything about the law.
The actress then revealed that her dream was to go back to school. “Next year, that’s my dream… babalik ako sa school,” the actress told The Philippine Star. “Yun ang nakita ko sa sarili ko. Yan ang target ko this 2023 – mag-aral dahil sa pelikulang ito.”
