Pokwang stressed that ending her relationship with Lee O’Brian is not a “karma”
Kapuso comedienne Pokwang fired back at basher who said that her breakup with Lee O’Brian is “karma.”
Following the confirmation of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz that Pokie and Lee are no longer together, the comedienne broke her silence regarding this matter. Through her recent Instagram post, Pokie said it has been seven months already since the separation happened.
Ogie was right when he said in his Showbiz Update vlog that the breakup happened in November 2021. Amid her decision to end her relationship with Lee, Pokie said they separated as friends. The breakup was done peacefully, the comedienne stressed.
Pokwang received sympathy and support from her friends in the entertainment industry. Many of her fans also expressed their love for her. However, there was a comment from a basher that received a fiery reply from the Kapuso star.
The basher said, “Kaya pala masyadong bitter ngayon. Pinagkaka abalahan ang makipag away sa mg a pro marcos. Karma bay an @itspokwant27.” Pokie replied that it is not called karma because she believes that it is a way from up above of clearing her path for the right person.
“Ikaw kapag namatayan ka ba ng kamag anak mo karma agad? Bakit may pinatay ba ako? G*ga ka?” Pokie added. The comedienne also stressed in the caption of her post that being a single parent is not karma.
She said that being alone in raising her kids gives her strength and can’t be called karma. “Hindi karma ang mabiyayaan ka ng mga anak na nagpapasaya at nagpapangiti sayo araw araw at dahilan ng pagsisikap mo sa buhay.” Pokwang added.
Many single mothers commented with a nod as they shared that they were able to raise their kids well even though they are alone.
