DENNIS TRILLO AND JENNYLYN MERCADO — The celebrity couple recently revealed the name and face of their child, “baby D”.
On Sunday, the Kapuso actress greeted her husband on Father’s Day by sharing a photo of him carrying “baby D” in his arms. In the said photo, the actor can be seen staring at his baby.
“Happy Father’s Day to our superman at work, @dennistrillo! We love you!” she wrote in the caption of her social media post.
A day after celebrating Father’s Day, the two marked a momentous event in their lives as they formally introduced “baby D” to the world through Jennylyn’s YouTube channel.
The couple showed snippets from Jennylyn’s admission to the hospital until her discharge in their latest vlog which was part of their “After All” vlog series on YouTube.
GMA Entertainment reported that the actress was supposed to give birth on May 5 but her prenatal cervix was already open and so the doctor had to deliver her baby through a cesarean section on the same day of her checkup which happened last April 25.
Jennylyn’s obstetrician-gynecologist is the same doctor who delivered her firstborn, Alex Jazz, last 2008.

The actress previously announced in her nursery tour vlog on her YouTube channel uploaded last May 1 that she has given birth to her and her husband’s first child.
