Sen. Manny Pacquiao Speaks on Dwindling Campaign Funds
MANNY PACQUIAO – The presidential candidate and PROMDI standard-bearer admitted that his funds for the election campaign are dwindling.
The campaign period for the May 2022 Elections is ongoing for more than a month now. The candidates are dealing with hectic schedules in the pursuit to visit as many areas and reach as many Filipinos as they can before the campaign period is over.
In the upcoming election for the next president of the Republic of the Philippines, one of the 10 candidates is Sen. Manny Pacquiao. He is the standard-bearer of PROMDI.
Sen. Pacquiao is vocal about his pursuit to uplift the lives of the Filipino people most especially the poor. He has always been vocal that he experienced hunger and poverty and he can really relate to the situation of the poor families.
The Senator vowed that he will push for housing projects for the poor if he wins president in the upcoming election. He also wants to help boost the businesses and the work opportunities in provinces so the people in the province no longer need to go to the Metro to earn well.
Previously, Sen. Pacquiao’s mother, Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao, admitted her worries that the boxer-turned-Senator will be spending a huge amount for his presidential bid. She stressed that he used a lot of money during the previous elections.
Meanwhile, Sen. Manny Pacquiao is consistent in saying that his presidential bid is for the poor Filipinos and he is not backing out from the race. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, he will continue with the fight even amid dwindling campaign funds.
According to the report, Sen. Pacquiao admitted that his election campaign funds are diminishing in amount because he does not accept all the donations to him. The PROMDI standard-bearer revealed that he is just choosing which donations to accept. According to him, at the end of the day, his victory in the upcoming election is for the Filipino people.
