Barbie Forteza on news about alleged breakup with Jak Roberto
Kapuso actress and vlogger Barbie Forteza recently took to social media as she reacted to news about the alleged breakup with her boyfriend Jak Roberto.
A certain Facebook page recently spread fake news that Barbie and Jak had allegedly broken up because Jak allegedly forgot their monthsary.
Using the style and appearance of Inquirer’s logo (Einquirur.net was seen in the said post), the said page showed the fake news that their breakup was allegedly announced.
The said post also included a quote card with a photo of Barbie explaining why they allegedly broke up with her boyfriend using a viral vlog about their exchange gift.

When it reached the Kapuso actress, Barbie immediately posted it on her Twitter account where thousands have commented, liked, and shared the said post.
“To whoever made this, you’re welcome,” Barbie said in her Twitter post.

And perhaps this worried her because even though the said post was clearly fake news, netizens still believed and even helped in spreading the viral post.
The said news was obviously fake because apart from the logo used on the said page, Jak recently uploaded a new vlog on YouTube with his girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Inquirer issued an official statement in this regard. In a statement, Inquirer encouraged the public to disregard or ignore the said account.
“Netizens and our own Inquirer.net social media team have informed us about a Facebook account that apparently parodies our official FB account. We’d like to inform the public, particularly our readers, that this FB account is in no way connected with Inquirer.net. We also urge the public to disregard or ignore this account. We have reported this matter to FB for their prompt action and have asked our lawyers to take the appropriate legal measures against the parties behind this unscrupulous act,” Inquirer said in a statement.
