Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez recently took to social media to share that they received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Ogie and Regine were among the Filipino celebrities who had been fully inoculated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
According to their respective Instagram posts on Wednesday, Ogie and Regine have each received a second dose of Sinovac COVID-19 Vaccine in Quezon City.
Ogie and Regine captioned their respective photos with a message encouraging others to get inoculated as well.
“I encourage all of you to have yours too. For us to achieve herd immunity at least 70 to 80 % of our population need to be vaccinated. This is the only way we can all go back to our normal lives. God bless po,” Regine said in her Instagram post.

Meanwhile, Ogie admitted that they hesitated at first, but they eventually made the decision for the sake of their family.
According to Ogie, they thought the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine would be the best vaccine, but they eventually learned that whatever vaccine would be given to them would be the most effective vaccine.
After getting injected with Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine, Ogie said that things were “so far so good”.
“Naisip ko ang pamilya ko, at ang mga katrabaho ko. Kaya ako nagpabakuna, hindi lang para sa sarili ko, kundi para sa nakararami,” Ogie said.
It was last April 17 when Regine and Ogie received their first dose of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine in Quezon City.
