Kim Chiu was already fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Actress Kim Chiu recently took to social media as she shared that she’s already fully vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
On Thursday, Kim shared the good news to her followers on Instagram as she posted on her Instagram account a photo of herself after receiving the second dose of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine.
According to her, she made herself physically active by doing different workouts in order for her to help her lungs get stronger. Kim also shared that she’s happy that she’s fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
“Finally. I have prayed for this day to come! Seeing the COVID-19 videos last year scared me, so many ‘what ifs’ on my mind. I made myself physically active by doing different workouts to help my lungs get stronger mas matinidi pa workout ko now than my marathon training before. But today, I am happy that I am #FullyVaccinated protection from major illness and to protect my friends, family, loved ones, and the people around me,” Chiu wrote.

Kim also urged all those who were qualified to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
The actress also revealed that the main side effect of the said vaccine, at least for her, was that she’s “always hungry for five days, 5-6 meals instead of 2 meals a day, then that’s it.”
So far, the Philippines had been able to administer at least 6.9 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine as of June 13. Of these, 1,879,694 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were second doses.
The national government aimed to inoculate at least 58 million of its 108 million population in order to achieve herd immunity and to safely reopen the economy.
