Joey Concepcion received his second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Last June 21, Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion had received his second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Concepcion, who was also the founder of “Go Negosyo”, was vaccinated with AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine through Go Negosyo’s “A Dose of Hope” program after his first vaccination in Pasig City last mid-April.
Go Negosyo was behind the procurement of COVID-19 vaccines for local government units and for the private sector. More than two million COVID-19 vaccine doses were set to arrive in the Philippines starting July until August this year.
President Duterte’s adviser had encouraged everyone to get vaccinated in order to attain population protection that could help promote greater mobility for people as well as to spur business activities and economic recovery as well.
The minimum population protection, which the national government hoped to achieve by December this year, should be at 40 to 50 million COVID-19 vaccines administered.

According to Concepcion, he agreed with OCTA Research that the vaccination of the population at 50% can be achieved by October for NCR Plus — Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Laguna, and Cavite.
While the national government worked to achieve goals and milestones in its COVID-19 vaccination program, he noted that the private sector will be consulting with medical experts in order to work out how the next normal will look like.
“The next normal will be dependent on our ability to achieve these levels of people vaccinated and failure to do so will slow down the opening of the economy. We need more of everyone’s participation to reach the 50 percent vaccination as we cannot fall short of hitting population protection,” Concepcion said.
