Gab Valenciano recently took to social media as he shared that he got his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
On Friday, Gab shared in an Instagram post photos of the vaccination process at the Philippine Red Cross National headquarters and also posted a video of himself getting vaccinated.
He also shared in his Instagram post the different steps on scheduling for a vaccine and the proper preparation before taking the vaccine dose, and also advised residents to research and to consult with their doctors first.
“As the mental health ambassador and volunteer for Red Cross Youth, we always take the proper steps. My category is A3 as I have hypoglycemia, bronchial asthma (past) and neurological disorders. We talked about the vaccination over a month ago. I finally got my schedule and did it without hesitation,” Gab wrote.

Gab added that he’s grateful for the opportunity to be able to help out via blood and convalescent plasma donation, mental health and immunization awareness.
He also shared tha he saw her family everyday and their safety was his priority, adding that he felt more at peace knowing that this will add protection not just for him but for his loved ones as well.
Moreover, Gab said that this was a step closer to beating the coronavirus disease.
“The vaccine is NOT a cure. It simply prevents, fights and boosts your immune system. Continue to stay vigilant by following all COVID-19 protocols,” Gab said.
