Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr wrote a message for his wife Bacoor, Cavite Mayor Lani Mercado on their 35th anniversary.
In a Facebook post, Bong told his wife that he’s grateful to God for each year, each month, each day, and each moment of those years that God had given them to be with each other.
He then told his wife that she had always been by his side and she was there to light the darkness in the most difficult times.

In a separate post, Bong uploaded a video as he greeted his wife with a happy 35th anniversary. He, in his video, thanked his wife for choosing to love him every day and to build their wonderful family together.
“Parati kang nandyan para sumuporta, kumalinga, at magbigay ng lakas sa akin. Ikaw ang rason at inspirasyon ng lahat ng aking mga tagumpay sa buhay. I love you so much Mama! Hanggang sa aking huling hininga ay hindi ako magsasawang sabihing kung gaano kita kamahal,” Bong said to Lani.
In another post, Bong shared a live video wherein he gave flowers and a cake to his wife to mark their 35th anniversary.
Lani was surprised when she lifted the “Happy Anniversary” sign as she saw throwback photos of herself and her husband — from photos during their first date to their anniversary photos.
