Alice Dixson speaks on being the first-time mom at the age of 51.
“Legal Wives” actress Alice Dixson recently opened up about being the first-time mom at the age of 51 as she had a baby via surrogacy.
It was last May 8 when Alice guested on the “Bawal Judgmental” segment of Eat Bulaga in conjunction with the Mother’s Day celebration.
Alice, along with other celebrity guests in the said show, were fellow first-time moms who will first celebrate the aforementioned special day for brave mothers.
She also shared the name and gender of her baby for the first time. According to her, her baby girl’s name was “Aura”.

Alice also shared that since she’s 51 years old before having a child via surrogacy, she would have had the opportunity to do so before. The actress was also asked about how she felt when she saw her baby for the first time.
“It was a feeling of halo-halong emotions of being a sigh of relief, nerbyos na am I gonna be a good mom, happiness, merong ding kaunting fears kasi siyempre there’s a lot of negative things going on in the world right now. So I guess because I’m a very optimistic. Nalampasan ko ang mga trial na ‘yon because of positive thinking,” Alice said.
Meanwhile, Alice’s surrogate gave birth abroad and so she stayed there for a few months. The actress then returned to the Philippines last May 1.
