Yahoo also mentioned that there would be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services despite Yahoo Answers’ shutdown.
“To that end, we have decided to shift our resources away from Yahoo Answers to focus on products that better serve our members and deliver on Yahoo’s promise of providing premium trusted content,” Yahoo said in an email sent to active members of Yahoo Answers.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Answers users have the option to download their content. However, they must request to download their data before June 30, 2021.
