The Quezon City government offered free COVID-19 swab testing to those who went to Angel Locsin’s community pantry showing coronavirus symptoms.
Angel reposted the announcement of the Quezon City government inviting those people who went to her community pantry showing coronavirus symptoms to avail of free COVID-19 swab testing.
CESU chief Dr. Rolando Cruz said that residents who were showing coronavirus symptoms such as cough and flu after going to Angel’s community pantry at the Titanium Bldg. in Brgy. Holy Spirit needed to come forward and have themselves checked.
Angel also shared a link to book an appointment and to the Quezon City Contact Tracing hotlines as well.

Meanwhile, PTV reported that Rolando “Mang Lando” Dela Cruz — a senior citizen who died while waiting in line at Angel’s community pantry in Quezon City — had tested “negative” for COVID-19 as seen in his COVID-19 RT-PCR test result.
On Saturday, the Department of Health (DOH) appealed to senior citizens not to go out of their respective houses just to line up in community pantries.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) also urged community pantry organizers to coordinate with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and local government units (LGU) in order to ensure that the safety and health protocols were observed.
