The family of late flight attendant Christine Dacera was not surprised with the dismissal of the case against 11 respondents, a spokesperson for the family said.
The Makati Prosecutor’s Office had dismissed the complaints filed against 11 respondents in the death of late flight attendant Christine Dacera “for lack of probable cause”.
Based on a report on Manila Bulletin, cleared of the charges were Alain Chen (with aliases Valentin Rosales and Val), Jezreel Rapinan (alias Clark Rapinan), Gregorio Angelo Rafael de Guzman, John Pascual dela Serna III, John Paul Halili, Rommel Galido, Mark Anthony Rosales, Louie Delima, Reymar Englis, Jamyr Cunanan, and Eduardo Pangilinan III.

Lawyer Roger “Brick” Reyes on Tuesday told Manila Bulletin in a phone interview that Dacera family wasn’t surprised with the dismissal of the case filed against 11 respondents implicated in her death because “there’s so many irregularities.”
“We were not surprised na ganito resolution ng fiscal. Remember, ginamit ng Makati Police ay medical report ni Dr. Sarmiento saying natural cause ang pagkamatay,” Reyes stressed.
The Makati police had submitted the medical report of Police Major Michael Nick Sarmiento, citing “ruptured aortic aneurysm” or natural causes as Christine’s cause of death.
Reyes also said that the Dacera camp had two options — to either appeal the said resolution to the Department of Justice (DOJ) or to file a separate complaint, this time the Dacera family as complainants.
“This is not yet over, this is just a comma, and not a period,” Reyes ended.
