Sinas debunked Ramon Tulfo’s claim that he “got injected with the Sinopharm vaccine”.
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Debold Sinas debunked columnist Ramon “Mon” Tulfo’s claim that he “got injected with the Sinopharm vaccine”.
It was last March 11 when PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Ildebrandi Usana confirmed that Sinas had tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Usana, Sinas was “asymptomatic” or had not experienced any coronavirus symptoms.

On Thursday, Tulfo claimed that Sinas “got injected with the Sinopharm vaccine” last November 2020.
“Sinas will survive because he got injected with the Sinopharm vaccine along with this columnist in November last year. Sinas was inoculated with the smuggled vaccine along with his security escorts. The Sinopharm vaccine was also given to many members of the Presidential Security Group,” Tulfo said in his article on The Manila Times.
However, the PNP chief quickly debunked Tulfo’s claim and said that he couldn’t have been infected if he already got the said vaccine.
“Our chief simply said that if he had his vaccine, he could not have been infected with COVID-19,” PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Ildebrandi Usana, quoting the PNP chief, told reporters in a text message.
