Juho’s announcement came as a surprise and had led to speculations about the future of Nokia Mobile.
Gizmochina reported that the timing also seemed off considering that HMD Global had a launch event scheduled for April 8 this year, which was less than two weeks from now.
Juho was yet to announce his next appointment as his LinkedIn page and Twitter bio still stated his current positions at HMD Global.
Nokia Mobile wasn’t the only manufacturer that has had a top executive leave this week. A few days ago , Xiaomi Chief Financial Officer Shou Zi announced that he’s leaving the company to take on the same role at ByteDance in his home country of Singapore.
