In a report on Manila Bulletin, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Central Office has recorded five new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

As a result, the CSC said in a two-page advisory signed on Sunday by CSC Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala that the CSC Central Office would “continue to be closed for one week” from March 15 to March 19.

The advisory stated that the Central Office shall undertake disinfection measures and shall conduct contract tracing as part of precautionary measures.

In addition, the advisory stated that the closure was also intended to allow government employees and officials to observe the required period of self-isolation pending results of the COVID-19 testing conducted last week.

The Civil Service Commission advised its clients not to visit the Central Office from March 15 to March 19.
