Actor Ken Chan renewed his contract with GMA Network.
KEN CHAN KAPUSO — Actor Ken Chan remained a Kapuso as he renewed his contract with GMA Network today, February 8, 2021.
In a report on GMA Entertainment, Ken recently renewed his contract with GMA Network.
Joining him in the contract signing were GMA Vice President for Drama Productions Redgie Acuña-Magno, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMAAC Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer, GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMAAC Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia, and Program Manager Nini Matilac.
This was an important event in the actor’s life because it marked his 10th anniversary in the showbiz industry.
At 18 years old, the actor was already making his name in the industry as he made his on-screen debut when he became a part of the Kapuso dance drama series “Time of My Life” in 2011.
After playing minor roles on television, he became known for his titular role in “Destiny Rose” wherein he played a transgender woman.

Ken had also starred in another hit Kapuso program “Meant To Be” in 2017 wherein he played Yuan Lee, one of Billie’s love interests.
He further rose to fame in 2018 when he played Boyet in the high-rated afternoon series “My Special Tatay”. He was paired with Rita Daniela, who played Aubrey in the said series.
Since then, fans had been clamoring for more projects featuring Ken and Rita and GMA didn’t fail to do so. Ken and Rita starred as love team in their second project “One Of The Baes” which aired in 2019.
Moreover, Ken and Rita served as journey hosts in GMA singing competition “The Clash” for two consecutive seasons. Ken and Rita also finished shooting for their debut film “My First And Always” which will be released soon.
At present, Ken and Rita were preparing for their third team-up on television for the upcoming series “Ang Dalawang Ikaw”.
