#ImpeachBidenNow Trends On Twitter
#ImpeachBidenNow became one of the trending topics on Twitter, but Americans left confused when the said hashtag got hijacked by K-pop fans.
In a report on Variety, the said hashtag started when controversial Republican congresswoman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene announced on Twitter that she’d just filed articles of impeachment on United States President Joe Biden
“President Joe Biden is unfit to hold the office of the presidency. His pattern of abuse of power as President Obama’s vice president is lengthy and disturbing,” Greene added.

Aside from filing articles of impeachment, she had also filed articles over long-refuted claims of corruption against President Biden and his family.
A representative for President Biden’s office didn’t immediately respond to Variety’s request for comment as of this writing.

Americans just starting to grow accustomed to not having several daily dumpster fires emanating from the Oval Office awakened on Friday to see the said hashtag trending with nearly 100,000 tweets.
However, clicking on the said hashtag brought up tweets like this:

This wasn’t the first time that K-Pop fans took over one of the trending hashtags on Twitter.
It was last June 2020 when #WhiteLivesMatter became one of the trending topics on Twitter at that time. However, K-pop fans took over the said hashtag and drowned out white-supremacist messages with anti-racist or non-sensical tweets.
