Green Day had canceled its upcoming concert in Manila.
Punk rock band Green Day had canceled what should have been the band’s first-ever concert in Manila this March 2021.
Producers MMI Live recently announced the cancellation on Facebook saying that the band was hoping to see their fans in Asia in the near future while it wasn’t possible to reschedule their tour at this time.
MMI Live also said that those who already purchased tickets may seek refunds by way of contacting SM Tickets at [email protected].
Green Day was initially set to perform on March 14, 2020, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. However, the said concert was rescheduled to March 13, 2021, because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The band’s concert in Manila was a stop on their Asian tour in order to promote their latest album, “Father of All….”
Green Day first rose to fame in the ’90s and became one of the bands credited for bringing punk rock into the mainstream.
In addition, Green Day was best known for their iconic albums “American Idiot” and “Dookie” and became one of the biggest selling rock-music acts of all time.
The band had won five Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last 2015.
