Apple iPhone 13 will produce and launch on regular schedule in 2021, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple would be able to produce and launch the iPhone 13 models on a regular schedule in 2021.
This, as Apple faced some challenges in the manufacturing and development process of the iPhone 12 models in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic, which led Apple to launch the new iPhones in two stages.
Kuo stated in a new investor note obtained by 9to5Mac that the mass production schedule of Apple’s iPhone 13 would be the same as for previous iPhone models before the 12 lineup.
This means that the public could expect all iPhone 13 models available without delays by September 2021.
This year, Apple wasn’t able to deliver all new iPhone 12 models at once as the coronavirus pandemic affected the company’s associated factories worldwide and even the internal production of the device at Apple headquarters since most employees were working from their respective homes.
As per the report, Kuo said that he had no concerns about the lower shipping forecast for the Apple A14 chip produced by TSMC in Quarter 2 of 2021 compared to Quarter 1 of 2021.

Kuo also said that the said decline was “seasonal” and expected as TSMC would start shifting its production pipeline for developing the new Apple A15 chip that would equip the iPhone 13 lineup.
Moreover, Kuo claimed that Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro sales remained strong and that demand for this year’s Pro models was better than expected, although Apple had been facing supply issues with the Sony camera sensors used for iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Pro.
