Atlanta Homeless Man Risks Life, Saves 16 Dogs And Cats From Burning Shelter
HOMELESS MAN CALLED “GUARDIAN ANGEL” – A homeless man from Atlanta risked his life and saves 16 dogs and cats from a burning animal shelter.
Because of his brave act, locals called him a “guardian angel”, especially for those animals that he saved. According to an article from Daily Mail, the man was identified as Keith Walker.
Walker had a pitbull in the shelter that he walks every afternoon. However, on the way to the W-Underdogs animal shelter, he saw that the building was caught on fire.
Without any hesitation, he rushed into the burning shelter to rescue six dogs and 10 cats that were trapped inside. According to local firefighters, animal control was called to the scene, however, Keith was already inside pulling out every animal until all were safe.
When local media interviewed the brave man, he said that he was scared to go into all the smoke and flames. However, he explained that he felt that God put him there to save those animals.
Furthermore, he emphasized:
“If you love a dog, you can love anyone in the world. My dog is my best friend, and I wouldn’t be here without him, so I knew I had to save all those other dogs“
Fortunately, even though the facility was razed by the flames, it was actually just a week away from moving locations. So, the animals still have a place to stay after the incident.
