Former senator and radio anchor Eddie Ilarde died at the age of 85.
Eddie Ilarde, a former senator and a radio anchor at Super Radyo dzBB who was known as “Kuya Eddie”, died on Tuesday at the age of 85.
This, as the tragic news about Eddie’s passing was confirmed by Super Radyo dzBB. In a report, Eddie passed away on Tuesday at his home in Makati.
However, Eddie’s family members clarified that a former senator wasn’t a victim of the COVID-19 pandemic.
[UPDATE 9:20 A.M.] In a Twitter post from Inquirer, Eddie’s cause of death was “natural cause”.
According to his family, Eddie was supposed to celebrate his 86th birthday this August 25. Eddie’s family also shared that his remains will be cremated and urged the public to pray for his passing.
