Ria Atayde assisted in launching Save the Children Philippines’ “Heroes from Home” campaign.
Ria Atayde, a celebrity ambassador of Save the Children Philippines, recently assisted in launching their latest “Heroes from Home” campaign.
This, as the said campaign was aimed at raising funds and giving hope to the “vulnerable”, “marginalized”, and “deprived” Filipino children who need education, healthcare, and protection amid the pandemic.
Ria explained that the COVID-19 pandemic had opened up opportunities for those who want to help even in the comforts of their respective homes.
According to her, the said campaign was a “simple”, “easy”, and “practical” way they could help children and families amid the pandemic. She then invited the public to join her for the sake of children and be a “Hero from Home”.

She also said that those volunteers who were interested to be a “Hero from Home” could sign up by sending an e-mail to supportercare.ph@savethechildren.org.
