Netizens have these reactions about the transition from Ceres Negros Football Club to a new Football Club
Netizens recently reacted on social media about the transfer of ownership from Ceres Negros Football Company to MMC Sportz Asia.
This, after Eric Gottschalk, the CEO of MMC Sportz Asia, said that the company would immediately apply for permission with the Philippine Football Federation to rename Ceres Negros Football Club into United City Football Club.
In a press release, MMC Sportz Asia led its group of private investors in order to manage the United City Football Club through this year’s Philippines Football League (PFL) & AFC Cup competitions.

Sana manlang nilagay kung saan based yung club sa name, parang templated name lang yung pinalit

Napaka-generic ang club name at logo. Based on the logo alone, mukhang kinuha nila sa United Makati. Anyway, I hope they change to a more suitable name. Anyway, what province/city they would represent? Fans hoping for this club would remain in Bacolod/Negros.
