The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) in Western Visayas reported new cases of coronavirus disease as of July 12, 2020.
In its COVID-19 case bulletin, The Department of Health Center for Health Development in Western Visayas reported 91 new cases of coronavirus disease as of July 12, 2020.
This brought the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 552. Moreover, the Department of Health Center for Health Development in Western Visayas reported 178 recoveries and 11 fatalities.

As per the report, the majority of new cases of coronavirus disease in Western Visayas were from Iloilo with 71 new COVID-19 cases, followed by Negros Occidental with 13 new COVID-19 cases, Bacolod City with five new cases, and Guimaras with two additional cases.
Moreover, 69 of these patients were identified as locally stranded individuals (LSI)s, while two repatriates and two “authorized persons outside residence (APOR)” were also reported.
In addition to the said report, two out of 91 patients were admitted to the hospital, five underwent home quarantine, and the remaining 84 underwent facility quarantine.
