The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) in Western Visayas reported new cases of coronavirus disease as of July 25, 2020.
In its COVID-19 case bulletin, the Department of Health Center for Health Development in Western Visayas reported 78 new cases of coronavirus disease as of July 25, 2020, wherein 2 out of 78 were tagged to other regions.
This brought the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 1,036. Moreover, the Department of Health Center for Health Development in Western Visayas reported 596 total recoveries and 16 total fatalities.

As per the report, the majority of new cases of coronavirus disease in Western Visayas were from Negros Occidental with 31 new COVID-19 cases, followed by Bacolod City with 27 new COVID-19 cases, Iloilo with 13 new cases, and Capiz with five additional cases.
Moreover, 35 of these patients were identified as locally stranded individuals (LSI)s, while 12 repatriates and two “transient LSIs” were also reported.
In addition to the said report, four out of 78 patients were admitted to the hospital, four underwent home quarantine, and the remaining 70 underwent facility quarantine.
