Vhong Navarro Speaks on Status of Some Kapamilya Shows

VHONG NAVARRO – The It’s Showtime host broke his silence on the cancellation of the airing of some Kapamilya shows.

The ABS-CBN network is now on hot water over their franchise. Currently, the free TV and the broadcast operations of the network are on pause.

The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has previously released a Cease and Desist Order against the network. Immediately, the broadcast operations of the network went off-air.

Currently, hearings are held over the franchise of the ABS-CBN network. Reportedly, some shows will be back to airing soon.

Based on a report on Pep, some Kapamilya shows will be aired in cable channels via Cablelink, Sky, G Sat, and others. Among the shows that will be aired are the following:

    • FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano
    • A Soldier’s Heart

Recently, It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro broke his silence on the cancellation of the airing of some Kapamilya shows. Based on a report on Pep, the TV host’s heart goes for those who are depending on shows that won’t air anymore.

According to Vhong, the staff of the shows also depend on it to provide for their family and he can feel their sadness. He stressed that it seems like some shows gave way so others can come back for airing.

“Kasi parang kulang. Hindi pa tayo puwede bumalik lahat. Parang merong nagparaya. Ang hirap, e,” Vhong said based on the article.

Also, Vhong Navarro emphasized the value of having work. He stressed that even a long-time job can be lost in an instant as what COVID-19 pandemic has shown the people.

The Kapamilya TV host stressed that we must love our job and appreciate it as anyone can really be affected by a closure of a company.
