Together with Hyun Bin, Smart officially announced that the company launched its latest campaign, the “Simple, Smart Ako” campaign.
This, as Smart posted an announcement photo as well as the behind-the-scenes video of Smart’s latest campaign in partnership with South Korean superstar Hyun Bin.
Alfredo S. Panlilio, the President and CEO of Smart as well as the Chief Revenue Officer of PLDT, said that the “Simple, Smart Ako” tagline summed up Smart’s effort making technology available and simple for its Filipino customers. The said ad from Smart primarily focused on its “Giga Life for everyone” scenario via a wide range of its Giga promos catering to the different passions and needs of its customers
According to the SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart Jane Basas, Filipinos had developed the craze just because they were able to stream Hyun Bin’s shows, hear the buzz from the Korean actor, share their excitements together with their friends, and get to interact with Hyun Bin via social media, as such, the “‘Hyun Bin’ Phenomenon” is pretty much due to digital technology”.
Basas also said that this made him a “perfect ambassador” for Smart as the company empowered Filipinos with its technological solutions that were made easy in order for them to enrich their daily lives as well as to pursue their passions.
