Messages of Son of Doctor Couple in Cebu Who Died of COVID-19
DOCTOR COUPLE – The son of two (2) doctors in Cebu posted heartbreaking messages after they died of COVID-19.
The 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19 is now the common enemy across the globe. Many countries are fighting hard against its spread which can take rapidly and cost many lives.
Philippines is one of the countries with confirmed cases of COVID-19. Currently, there is a total of over 2,000 coronavirus cases confirmed in the country.
Sadly, several doctors contracted COVID-19. Many of them died fighting against the disease. Among them are a doctor couple in Cebu.
Dr. Dennis Ramon Tudtud and Dra. Helen Tudtud both died of coronavirus. The doctor couple in Cebu has touched many lives and their son took to the social media heartbreaking messages after his parents lost their battle against COVID-19.
On his Facebook account, Dennis Thomas Tudtud shared the timeline of what happened to his mother. It was in March 17 when she got admitted and they were having video calls from March 18 to 21.
In March 21, Doc Helen’s condition deteriorated but she kept on fighting. Her vital signs stabilized in March 23 but her condition took a different turn in March 28 which led to her demise.
When Doc Helen’s conditioning was deteriorating, her husband, Dr. Dennis Tudtud, was also admitted for COVID-19. In his post, the doctors’ son recalled the “selflessness” of their father and how Doc Dennis love his family.
As a doctor, his son shared that Doc Dennis would even pay for the chemotherapy sessions of his patients. The doctor couple’s son asks for prayers for the soul of his parents who died of COVID-19 and to pray for those who are fighting against the disease now.
It is his birthday. Dennis stated in his post that he cannot bring his parents back to life but he can celebrate their lives.
