Coronavirus Patients in Quezon City Include 8-Year-Old Child Who’s Now Confined
8-YEAR-OLD CHILD – A child in Quezon City was confirmed positive for the 2019 coronavirus or COVID-19.
The Philippines is one of the countries affected by the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19. The national government has announced an enhanced community quarantine covering the entire Luzon due to the outbreak.
Also, several provinces in the Visayas and Mindanao are implementing an ECQ. The movements of the people must be limited to curb the spread of the infection. Everyone must stay at home.
It is known that the elderly are more susceptible to COVID-19 infection. This is why it is not advised that people aging 60 years old and above will be the one to go out from the house and do the errands.
However, everyone is really at risk for coronavirus infection if we won’t follow the guidelines from the authorities. It can infect both male and female, young and old.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, an 8-year-old Child in Quezon City was confirmed positive for coronavirus. The kid, a female child, has a travel history.
According to Quezon City Public Information Office, the 8-year-old child who tested positive for coronavirus is a resident of Pitogo City. She has recently travelled to Unisan City which has a confirmed case of the disease.
Based on the report, in Quezon, there is now a total of 25 confirmed patients of coronavirus. A 37-year-old man also recently tested positive for the disease.
The said man is from Lucena City. He and the child are both confined in a hospital now.
